During the charging process, the acceptable current of the battery gradually decreases, so after a period of time, the charging current will exceed the acceptable current of the battery, so more gas will be produced in the battery, and the gas outlet rate will increase significantly. At this time, the gas detection element can send a control signal in time to force the battery to stop charging and discharge for a short time. In this way, the polarization inside the battery will soon disappear, so the outgassing rate can always be kept within a low predetermined value. There are such schemes abroad. Due to the lack of gas sensors in China, this method is rarely studied.
