The characteristic of this charging method is that it is charged with a constant high current. When it is charged to a certain voltage (equivalent to the voltage at the outlet point of the battery), it stops charging and discharges with a high current (or low current) to depolarize, and then it is charged with a constant high current. According to this, the charging and discharging process is carried out alternately. The frequency of discharge pulse increases with the increase of charging power, and the width of charging pulse decreases with the increase of charging power. When the charging amount and discharge amount are basically equal, it means that the battery is fully charged, and the charging is ended immediately.
According to this method, there are many schemes at home and abroad to realize the rapid charging of battery. This method has no depolarization measures at the initial stage of charging. After adding depolarization measures, the charging pulse width continues to decrease, which makes the average value of charging current decline faster and prolongs the charging time.
