The stage constant current charging method can generally be divided into two stages or multiple stages.
The phase constant current charging method requires short charging time and good charging effect. As charging with a smaller current is used in the later stage of charging, this reduces the scouring of bubbles on the active substances of the electrode plate and reduces the shedding of active substances. This charging method can prolong the service life of the battery, save electric energy, and charge thoroughly, so it is a commonly used charging method at present. Generally, the battery is charged at 10h rate current in the first stage and 20h rate current in the second stage. The specific requirements and standards of various batteries are different for the length of charging time in each stage.
