Is the internal resistance of the battery high or low

The so-called battery is an electrochemical device that can store chemical energy and release electrical energy when needed. The smaller the internal resistance of any battery is, the stronger the discharge capacity of large current is, and the more electric energy is dissipated. All power supplies have a certain degree of internal resistance. In order to improve the carrying capacity, of course, the internal resistance of the power supply should be as small as possible.

Resistance R is the internal resistance of the automobile battery, RL is the load connected in series with the internal resistance R of the battery, and the current flowing into R is equal to the load current. Assuming the size of R remains unchanged, with the increase of load current, the current flowing through the internal resistance R increases, and the voltage at both ends of R increases, so the voltage applied to both ends of load RL decreases. If the voltage drop is too large, RL may not reach the rated working voltage and may not work normally. Therefore, the internal resistance of the battery should be as small as possible, so that the voltage drop at both ends of the internal resistance will not be large during overload driving.

The internal resistance of the battery will increase with the passage of time, especially the internal resistance of the battery that is about to be scrapped. At this time, the battery voltage is high after being fully charged, but when the battery is fully charged, the internal resistance will increase with the increase of internal resistance. Apply a high current load, and a voltage drop will occur, reducing the voltage at both ends of the load.
